This whole thing started out originally just as a tool that I built for my band
mates to use to easily update our gig calendar on our website. Being a web nerd
I could easily update the site, but I wanted to share the joy. So I threw some
code together and unveiled it to my mates. Instead of singing my praises (as I
imagined in my head) my band mates seemed to have a list of “You know what would
be cool?” items. Meanwhile over a few years some other bands we played with
asked to be “hooked up” with the tools for their website. They also had some
“You know what would be cool?” items.

I was up to 5 bands and a lot more
features. I decided “You know what would be cool?”…….if I just made it available
for any band that wanted to use it and charged all of them $50/month! Just
kidding, I know better than thinking bands are made of money…..so you can use it for
FREE. In six months I went from five to over two hundred bands with just word of
mouth and keeping it grass roots. Now I am listening to lists of what would
be cool from across the country and even other countries. There are some
great ideas out there and we are implementing as many as our time allows. I also
have some very big ideas of my own that are sure to please even my band mates.
